Welcome Dr Joel

Ungooroo Medical Service welcomes a new doctor.

Dr Joel Wentong (Weno) descends from the Gubbi Gubbi Nation South of East Queensland, grew up in Cairns (QLD) and now lives in the Newcastle area.

Joel is a General Practitioner and is joining the Ungooroo Aboriginal Corporation team commencing Wednesday 18th January 2023.

Joels passions are also music – and was born into the music industry, with his reggae-playing parents.

Dr Joel joins the Ungooroo clinical team with Dr Liz and Dr Catherine and Rose our Aboriginal Health Practitioner.
